Day One Hundred and Sixty One

Father’s Day! As Taylor’s first Father’s Day, I think it went rather gloriously. Bear and I got up at 5:30 and were out of the house by 6:30. We got Starbucks and picked up some eggs for breakfast, and let Taylor sleep in.

Then we made waffles. But not normal waffles. The dough was yeasted and had pearl sugar in it. Honestly, I was disappointed in them, but only because I had super high expectations. They were delicious, just not as delicious as I was led to believe they would be.

After that we went to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. Which was a kind of cool little museum. I mainly enjoyed it because it had a pressed penny machine and was right next to a Coldstone.

We ended our afternoon hanging out in the kiddie pool and drinking. Then the day finished with pizza and bad tv.

All in all glorious!
